The driving is handled, the evening is yours.
While you enjoy dinner and drinks, your private driver waits with your car, ready whenever you are. When the evening is done, you drive home safely in your own vehicle.
No one watching how much they drink so they can drive, no scramble for a trip, no stranded car to come back for the next day.
- ✦Driven the whole way. From your driveway to dinner, on to the bar or theater, and home again, all in your own car.
- ✦Ready whenever you are. Stay as long as you like. Your driver and your car are waiting when you are ready to leave.
However the night unfolds, you never touch the wheel.
Whether it is dinner and a few drinks, a night at the bars and lounges, a club, the theater, a party, or a holiday gathering, your private driver takes you and your party there and back in your own car, so the whole evening is yours to enjoy.
We drive you throughout Orange County, Los Angeles County, and Riverside County. Wherever your evening takes you within our service area, your private driver gets you there and home safely.
Make the Decision Before the First Toast
The safest time to decide who will be responsible for the vehicle is before anyone leaves home. A plan made at that point does not depend on estimating how much someone may drink, asking a friend to abstain, or making a judgment late at night. The keys and schedule are settled while the group is clear about the evening.
Starting at the residence also keeps every segment connected. Passengers enter the chosen sedan, SUV, van, Sprinter, or other approved automobile at the first address. Coats, gifts, evening shoes, purchases, mobility items, and personal belongings can remain together until the final stop.
If the gathering begins somewhere else, the reservation can start wherever the client's car is legally located and available. The starting instructions should identify the exact address, parking level or space when applicable, key location, authorized contact, passenger count, and first destination.
Everyone Can Participate in the Evening
Groups often rotate the designated role among friends or family. That choice may keep one person from joining a toast, wine pairing, celebration, or spontaneous second stop. A reserved private driver changes the responsibility without separating the group from its vehicle.
This is not permission to ignore personal limits or venue rules. It is a transportation plan that removes the need for any passenger to take control of the car afterward. Each person remains responsible for conduct, alcohol consumption, and following the law.
The value extends beyond alcohol. The passengers can leave together, change locations together, and return in the same cabin. Nobody has to search for another option at closing time, divide belongings among several cars, or organize a retrieval errand the next morning.
The Client's Vehicle Returns With the Group
Leaving an automobile at a restaurant, club, hotel, event lot, or private residence creates a second schedule. Someone must hold the keys, confirm that overnight parking is permitted, return across town, and pay any additional parking charge. Personal items may also remain far from home.
With full-evening service, the automobile remains part of the reservation. It can carry the passengers from home to the first destination, continue to later locations, and finish where the client has authorized. The next day begins without a stranded car or an unfinished transportation task.
The ending address does not have to match the starting address. The group may finish at a hotel, another residence, or a final passenger's home. That different ending must be stated in advance, along with where the car will be parked, who receives the key, and who confirms completion.
Reserve the Entire Social Window
A designated assignment works best when it covers more than the final segment. A late request from the last venue can leave uncertainty about keys, vehicle location, passenger count, access, timing, and whether someone has already taken control of the automobile. Reserving the broader evening settles those details beforehand.
Hourly coverage also gives the plan room to develop. Dinner may be followed by dessert, a lounge, a performance, a friend's house, or an earlier return. The assigned private driver remains connected during the accepted period, subject to the confirmed terms and lawful destinations.
Tell the company which commitment is fixed. A dinner seating, curtain, ceremony, concert entry, tasting appointment, or venue closing may determine the sequence. Flexible stops can be arranged around that anchor when the reservation includes realistic time.
Dinner Is Often the Beginning
A restaurant evening may appear simple until parking, valet lines, several entrances, or a crowded district changes the timing. Passengers can be let out at a lawful practical point while the automobile is placed according to property rules. Near the end of the meal, direct communication confirms where the group will be ready.
If the party may continue afterward, include that possibility when reserving. The next location does not always need to be known at the beginning, but the expected service area, probable hours, passenger group, and person allowed to approve changes should be clear.
The assigned person cannot decide which social destination the group should choose. Instructions must come from the authorized contact and include a recognizable place name, complete address, and entrance when the property is large.
Bars, Lounges, and Clubs Need Exact Exit Details
Nightlife locations may use a hotel lobby, primary door, side exit, valet lane, alley, or nearby corner. Streets can become restricted as crowds grow. Saying “outside” is often not enough for a reliable reunion between passengers and vehicle.
Before going inside, identify the expected exit or a nearby lawful meeting point. If the party walks to a different establishment, send the new name and address. A short message near departure gives the assigned private driver time to approach without blocking traffic or creating confusion at the wrong entrance.
Direct cell contact is useful, but precise information is still essential. The message should explain the location, requested action, passenger group, and whether the itinerary is continuing or ending.
Performances and Large Venues Release Crowds Together
Theater, comedy, music, arena programs, festivals, and games often end with thousands of guests moving at once. Traffic staff may close the same curb used earlier or redirect cars away from the main doors. The scheduled ending can also shift because of an encore, speech, delay, overtime, or long intermission.
Choose a reunion point before entering. A named street, hotel entrance, designated zone, parking area, or landmark outside the busiest boundary is more useful than a general reference to the venue. Current signs and on-site instructions control the final approach.
When the program finishes, the authorized passenger should confirm the door actually being used. If the planned point is unavailable, both sides should agree on the replacement rather than moving independently through the crowd.
Private Homes Require Respectful Access
A party at a residence may involve a gate, guard, call box, steep entry, narrow street, limited guest parking, or neighborhood restrictions. Supply the address as issued by the host, approved guest name, entry directions, host contact, and any instructions about vehicle placement.
The gathering may spread through a home, garden, driveway, and nearby outdoor area. At departure, the passenger should identify the actual gate or door. Quiet coordination helps prepare the automobile without unnecessary horn use, repeated circling, or congestion near neighboring properties.
When the event ends at the private home rather than the client's residence, the key and automobile placement should be confirmed before service begins. A host cannot authorize a different outcome unless the client has designated that person to make changes.
Hotels Can Hold Several Parts of One Celebration
A hotel evening may include drinks, dinner, a ballroom program, an after-party, and an overnight stay without leaving the property. The automobile may still need to remain available in case plans change. Provide the property name, event name, guest entrance, parking or valet procedure, expected conclusion, and intended ending.
Some clients return home after the program. Others stay overnight and want the car secured at the hotel. The final key recipient and parking arrangement should be written into the reservation, particularly when the assignment ends somewhere other than the first address.
Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners, and Milestone Occasions
A wedding weekend can include a welcome gathering, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and morning event at separate properties. Designated service can support the couple, hosts, relatives, or guests using one client vehicle. Moving many guest automobiles requires a separately coordinated event plan.
Anniversaries, birthdays, date nights, holiday meals, memorial gatherings, and private celebrations also benefit from a settled return. The passengers choose their cabin temperature, music, seating, and belongings while the assigned person maintains a quiet service boundary.
Provide invitations or schedules when they clarify timing. Include formal clothing, gifts, mobility items, passenger addresses, hotel plans, and any venue deadline that affects departure. Social programs may run late even when a property imposes a fixed closing time, so both possibilities should be reflected in the hours reserved.
Holiday Dates Need Earlier Planning
December gatherings, company celebrations, family parties, and New Year's Eve concentrate demand into a small number of evenings. A host may also move the occasion from a restaurant to a home or hotel. Earlier contact gives the office more opportunity to support the requested start, duration, employee preference, vehicle, and passenger total.
Most reservations carry a three-hour minimum. On New Year's Eve, an assignment beginning at 6:00 p.m. or later has a five-hour minimum. The client should provide a realistic range and identify any venue closing or ending address that cannot change.
Temecula Wine Country Is a Full-Day Plan
A tasting schedule in the Temecula Valley is different from a short evening reservation. It may combine several properties, timed appointments, meals, purchases, and a substantial return toward the coast or another community. Each winery controls its own arrival, group, and reservation policies.
List every confirmed property and tasting time. Include meal plans, passenger count, expected storage for purchases, and the final destination. The schedule should allow enough time for local roads, entrances, loading, and movement between appointments.
The assigned private driver remains with the client's automobile during the accepted hours. Personal items and purchases stay together, and no guest has to accept responsibility for the return after the tastings.
One Authorized Contact Keeps the Plan Clear
A group may have several opinions about where to go next. Conflicting messages can create uncertainty about whether passengers are staying together, separating, changing the ending address, or extending the reservation. One named person should be authorized to approve itinerary changes.
That contact should remain reachable. When a destination changes, the message needs the exact place, address, entrance, expected timing, and passenger group. The company should also be notified when the change affects hours, county coverage, staffing, or another material term.
If passengers will finish at different homes, establish the order before the final departure when possible. Confirm which passenger will be last, where the automobile should end, and who receives the key.
Waiting Is Active Assignment Time
While passengers are inside, the assigned employee remains responsible for the automobile and communication. Local rules may require repositioning to a garage, legal street space, remote lot, or approved holding area. The car cannot always stay at the exact curb used for arrival.
An honest duration estimate is more useful than the shortest imaginable one. Meals, receptions, performances, and private gatherings regularly run beyond printed schedules. If the group finishes early, the return can begin earlier. If additional time is needed, availability and revised terms must be discussed promptly.
Parking, valet fees, tolls, meals, lodging, charging, fuel, and other approved assignment expenses remain the client's responsibility. Property rules and public restrictions apply throughout the reservation.
The Vehicle Must Fit the Group
The client supplies the automobile, so passenger count must remain within installed seating and seat-belt capacity. A sedan may suit a couple, an SUV may support a small group, and an approved passenger van or Sprinter may accommodate more people. Provide the year, make, model, transmission type, and seating arrangement before confirmation.
The car must be legally registered, roadworthy, and prepared for the expected mileage. Begin with sufficient fuel or battery charge. Disclose warning lights, low clearance, manual controls, unusual security features, charging limitations, or mechanical concerns before the assigned employee arrives.
Clear space for the items the evening may involve. Coats, gifts, mobility equipment, purchases, luggage, or child safety seats should have an appropriate place without compromising passenger seating or visibility.
Company Employment Creates Accountability
A vetted person with W-2 employee status fulfills every designated-driver assignment accepted by our company. Candidates complete a personal interview and background review before client assignments. Every private driver we hire has a minimum of two years of professional experience driving clients, so you are never anyone's first client.
Record monitoring continues through the California DMV Employer Pull Notice program. Drug and alcohol screening also continues during employment. Each assigned person signs a confidentiality agreement covering conversations, passenger identity, residence information, destinations, schedules, and other private matters learned during service.
Clients receive the assigned private driver's cell number. They also receive the mobile number of Josef Wojtkow, Chairman and CEO. Immediate changes can be handled directly, while company leadership remains available when a concern needs higher-level attention.
Privacy Matters During a Social Evening
Conversations among couples, relatives, friends, colleagues, or telephone callers may be personal. The assigned employee is present to provide the agreed service, not participate in the occasion. Confidentiality and a quiet boundary protect the passengers' time together.
The vehicle also remains visually private. It carries no YCOD marking that announces outside assistance. Passengers arrive in the same automobile they use normally, which can matter at homes, hotels, restaurants, and events.
A live location link can be sent when the assigned person begins approaching. The client controls whether it is shared with a family member, host, household contact, or another person. Location visibility supplements direct instructions but cannot show a changed plan until the update is communicated.
A Familiar Person May Be Requested Again
Recurring dinners, celebrations, or social schedules can become easier when the same private driver is available. Familiarity may reduce repeated explanation about the property, vehicle controls, preferred entrance, communication style, and ending routine.
Every date still requires confirmation. A request does not guarantee availability, and current instructions must be supplied even when the person has served the household before. If a requested employee cannot accept the assignment, the client can decide whether another qualified person is acceptable.
Repeat clients account for more than 90% of YCOD business. That history reflects many separate decisions to place another evening, automobile, and passenger group in the company's care.
Coverage Across Three Southern California Counties
Designated service is available throughout Orange and Riverside counties as well as Los Angeles County. An evening may remain within one community or connect a residence in one county with dinner, entertainment, or a private gathering in another.
List every expected location so distance, hours, employee availability, and the return plan can be reviewed as one assignment. Longer destinations may be considered when arranged in advance, but they require clear work-hour, lodging, meal, vehicle, and return details.
YCOD has served Southern California since 2007 from its Newport Beach base. County coverage is broad, while each reservation is accepted according to the actual date, vehicle, itinerary, and personnel availability.
Hourly Pricing Before the Evening
Pricing is based on time and is explained before confirmation. For a client-owned sedan or SUV, hours one through eight are billed at $60 each. Beginning with hour nine, the amount is $93 for each hour. A client-owned van, Sprinter, or limousine uses $66 for each of the initial eight hours, followed by $105 beginning with the ninth hour.
The listed hourly amounts include a 20% gratuity. Rates do not rise simply because the date is a weekend, holiday, airport rush, major event, or another high-demand period. Time is advanced to the next half-hour increment for billing.
An estimate should reflect the starting time, likely locations, waiting, probable conclusion, and possible extension. Actual billing depends on time used and approved expenses. Call or text with the specific date, vehicle, starting point, and social plan for an exact explanation.
Prepare the Reservation Before the Celebration
Begin with the date, requested start, complete pickup address, passenger total, vehicle details, first destination, probable later locations, and ending address. Add restaurant times, venue instructions, hotel or gate information, tasting appointments, parking credentials, mobility items, luggage, and authorized contacts when relevant.
Identify the fixed commitment and the flexible parts of the evening. Explain how the passengers will reunite with the car, who may approve changes, whether several homes are involved, and where the vehicle and key should finish.
Call, text, email, or use the online reservation form before anyone must decide who should take the wheel. Once the assignment is confirmed, the group can focus on dinner, conversation, entertainment, and the people they came to see.
