In a client's words
“The best transportation company that I have worked with. Their service beats any taxi, ride-share, and even a Waymo. The drivers are professional, courteous, and willing to always go the extra mile, such as taking my car to the car wash or getting gas. The drivers are always prepared and have positive attitudes! I strongly recommend Your Car Our Driver anytime! Oh, and the pricing cant be beat either!”

Your Own Car. A Private Driver. One Accountable Company

Your Car Our Driver supplies an experienced private driver for the vehicle you already own. The service begins wherever that vehicle is ready, including a residence, office, hotel, medical building, or another approved location. From there, the person assigned to you follows the agreed schedule while you remain in surroundings chosen for your comfort, privacy, family, work, and personal belongings.

This is a Southern California company built for people who want help behind the wheel without giving up their own car. YCOD has served clients since 2007 under the leadership of founder Josef Wojtkow. Its core territory combines Orange and Riverside counties with Los Angeles County, while longer destinations are considered by advance arrangement.

The Difference Is Already in Your Garage

Many transportation choices begin with whatever automobile appears at the curb. YCOD begins with the one you know. Seat position, cabin temperature, phone connection, luggage space, child seats, mobility equipment, music, work materials, and personal items can remain where they belong. The passenger does not need to adapt to an unfamiliar interior each time the schedule changes.

That distinction matters for more than comfort. Parents know how child seats fit. An older adult may enter a familiar SUV more confidently than a different vehicle. An executive can keep confidential papers secured in one place. A traveler can load luggage once before an airport departure. A couple attending dinner and a performance can leave coats or purchases in the car between stops.

The client's vehicle also creates continuity across a complicated day. A reservation can connect several appointments, changing destinations, waiting periods, an added meal, and the final return home. There is no need to arrange another car after every stop or explain the itinerary repeatedly to a new person.

An Employee, Not an App-Based Match

Every private driver holds W-2 employee status with Your Car Our Driver. The company selects, schedules, and remains responsible for the people sent to clients. The relationship is not created by an application that places an independent individual and passenger together for one transaction.

Before joining the company, each person completes a personal interview and background review. A minimum of two years of professional experience driving clients is required. The California DMV Employer Pull Notice program provides continuous record monitoring. Substance screening for drugs and alcohol continues throughout employment, and confidentiality is supported by a signed agreement from every assigned employee.

Josef remains involved in selection and company standards. Clients receive direct contact information for the person assigned and can also reach company leadership. That structure gives a reservation two levels of communication: immediate coordination with the person at the vehicle and company accountability when an issue requires broader attention.

Why Clients Return

Repeat clients account for more than 90% of company business. Some reserve help for an annual event or occasional airport departure. Others establish weekly appointments, recurring family schedules, several business days, or regular evening plans. The reasons vary, but the decision to return reflects whether the first experience felt punctual, discreet, careful, and easy to coordinate.

A successful match can become familiar over time. The private driver may learn the correct gate, preferred entrance, vehicle controls, communication style, usual medical building, office garage, or household routine. Clients may request that same person for a later reservation, subject to availability.

Privacy Begins Before the Car Moves

Confidentiality is important because a vehicle can become an office, family room, medical transition space, or quiet retreat during the day. Business conversations, telephone calls, passenger identities, destinations, household details, and personal schedules may be heard or observed during an assignment. The signed nondisclosure agreement establishes that these matters remain private.

The company also limits booking information to what is needed to arrange and complete the service. Operational details are provided to the assigned employee, while the client or coordinator decides what additional context is useful. Information about passengers and schedules is not treated as material for conversation outside the assignment.

Privacy is also supported by appearance. The client's automobile does not carry YCOD branding, so arrival does not advertise that outside help has been arranged. A public figure, company leader, family, or private household can enter and leave in the same vehicle they normally use.

Live Location and Direct Communication

When the assigned employee marks the approach as underway, a live location link is sent to the client. It may be shared with a family member, executive assistant, colleague, household manager, or anyone else the client chooses. Another person can then follow progress without repeatedly calling the passenger.

Direct cell contact supports practical changes. A meeting may run late, an airport door may change, a gate may require a new instruction, or a passenger may be ready at a different entrance. The assigned private driver can be reached without routing every update through a call center.

Company leadership remains reachable as well. Every client receives Josef's mobile number. If a concern cannot be resolved through ordinary coordination, there is a named person with authority to address it.

One Reservation Can Hold an Entire Day

The flexible day-or-night option is useful when the schedule contains errands, appointments, shopping, meals, visits, or an evening activity. The itinerary can begin with known stops while preserving room for practical changes. The assigned person remains connected to the reservation during the booked period and can wait or reposition when local rules require it.

This structure is especially helpful in Southern California, where a day can cross several business centers and county lines. A client may begin near home, continue to an office, stop for a medical appointment, attend dinner, and finish at another address. The same car keeps the day physically organized while one contact keeps the schedule connected.

The reservation should identify which arrival times are fixed and which destinations can change. A hard appointment, flight, ceremony, or event opening needs more protection in the schedule than an optional stop. Giving the company the whole sequence makes realistic planning easier than providing only the first address.

Business and Executive Schedules

Corporate assignments can support executives, visiting clients, board members, production leaders, and teams moving among offices, hotels, studios, meetings, airports, meals, and events. Road time can become space for calls, reading, preparation, private conversation, or quiet instead of another task the passenger must manage.

An executive assistant or travel coordinator may arrange the reservation on behalf of the passenger. In that situation, it helps to identify one person who can approve changes, receive updates, and clarify the itinerary. The passenger can still communicate comfort and timing preferences directly.

For several-day assignments, vehicle location, key control, next-day starting time, and overnight arrangements should be documented. A recurring corporate schedule can use established addresses and preferences while each date remains separately confirmed.

Family, Senior, and Medical Needs

Families use the service for children, older adults, appointments, recovery periods, and recurring commitments. These reservations work best when authorized contacts, timing, passenger needs, child-seat information, mobility equipment, and communication expectations are discussed before the scheduled start.

Parents supply any required child safety seat and determine its placement. An older passenger may need additional time at the door or a calm transition into the vehicle. A family member who is not present can receive updates and contact the assigned person directly.

YCOD provides private transportation in the client's own vehicle. The company does not provide medical care, lifting, hands-on transfers, or a clinical attendant. When a passenger needs physical assistance or supervision beyond the transportation assignment, an appropriate caregiver should accompany that person.

Medical visits may end earlier or later than expected. Waiting time can be included so the car and assigned employee remain part of the same reservation. Written notes about the correct medical entrance, pickup method, family contact, and passenger preferences can make recurring appointments easier to manage.

Airport Departures and Returns

Airport plans can begin from any community in the three-county coverage area. LAX, Hollywood Burbank, Long Beach, John Wayne, and Ontario are common choices. The company should receive airline and flight information, terminal details when known, passenger count, luggage requirements, and the intended location of the car after departure.

For an outbound assignment, the passenger can be taken to the appropriate terminal in the client's own car. The vehicle may then be returned to a residence, office, or another approved place according to the written plan. For an arrival, the employee can collect the car first and approach the designated passenger area at the appropriate time.

Airports can change access rules, terminal patterns, and meeting locations. Flight status is useful, but communication from the traveler remains important because deplaning, baggage, mobility, customs, or a changed exit can affect the actual meeting time.

Evenings, Dining, and Designated Plans

A dinner, private party, concert, game, celebration, or night out can be covered as one continuous reservation. The assigned private driver handles the client's vehicle while the passengers focus on the occasion. If plans move to another location, personal items stay in the same car.

Waiting arrangements depend on the destination. The vehicle may remain nearby, use a garage, or wait farther away because of curb restrictions, valet activity, crowd controls, or private-property rules. Before the passenger goes inside, both sides should know how contact will occur and where the next meeting point is likely to be.

Designated service is intended for occasions when nobody in the group should be responsible for the wheel afterward. The client's vehicle comes home with the passengers, avoiding a separate recovery plan the following day.

Weddings, Special Occasions, and Large Events

Weddings and private occasions often involve precise timing, formal clothing, gifts, changing locations, and a late return. The vehicle can be prepared for the people and belongings involved, while the reservation connects the ceremony, photographs, reception, hotel, and final destination.

Special-event service is useful for graduations, galas, memorials, luncheons, premieres, private celebrations, and venue programs. The difficult part is often the end, when many people leave at once and access points change. An agreed pickup method reduces confusion at a crowded entrance.

Large events may require coordinated assignments for several client vehicles. YCOD has supported multi-day occasions and events requiring substantial teams. Each event plan is built around vehicle locations, key control, guest assignments, staff communication, venue rules, waiting areas, and the sequence for returning people and cars.

Longer Destinations in the Client's Vehicle

Extended service may continue beyond Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside counties when arranged in advance. Common examples include San Diego, Santa Barbara, Temecula, Palm Springs, and Las Vegas. The plan may be one way, a same-day return, or an assignment that includes an overnight stay.

Long-distance details must be settled before confirmation. The company needs the expected route, planned stops, passenger and luggage needs, fuel or charging requirements, employee work hours, meal timing, lodging when applicable, vehicle destination, and return arrangement.

The passenger keeps the advantages of the familiar car throughout the trip. Luggage remains in the selected space, personal settings stay in place, and the vehicle is available at the destination when that is part of the agreed plan.

From Request to Written Confirmation

A reservation begins with the date, requested start time, pickup address, expected duration, vehicle year and model, passenger count, known destinations, and any access instructions. The request can begin online, by telephone, through text, or by email. Advance notice provides the best opportunity to support timing and personnel preferences, although same-day availability may sometimes exist.

After details are accepted, the company sends written confirmation with the service date, starting information, known destination, estimated amount, and current terms. Approximately one day before the assignment, the arrangement is reconfirmed. The client also receives the assigned person's name and cell number.

Changes should be communicated promptly. A revised start time, added passenger, different vehicle, new gate instruction, or additional stop may affect the assignment. Written confirmation gives everyone a shared record, while direct communication allows practical adjustments.

At the scheduled start, the private driver arrives separately, reviews immediate instructions, and documents the exterior condition of the client's vehicle. Billing begins at arrival and ends when the assignment is complete and the car has been returned or secured as agreed.

The Vehicle Is Documented Before Service

Exterior photographs establish the condition of the client's car before control is transferred. Vehicle-specific information is also reviewed, including keys, security features, garage or gate equipment, starting procedure, fuel or charge level, warning lights, parking instructions, and the intended return location.

Clients should disclose any unusual control, mechanical concern, customized feature, manual transmission, charging limitation, height restriction, or access issue in advance. YCOD personnel work with standard sedans and SUVs, luxury and specialty automobiles, electric and hybrid models, large SUVs, pickup trucks, passenger vans, Sprinters, limousines, and other client-owned vehicles when an appropriate assignment can be made.

The standard of care does not depend on price or prestige. A family SUV, everyday sedan, collector automobile, work vehicle, or specially equipped car can be equally important to its owner. Documentation creates a clear reference for both client and company.

Company and Vehicle Protection

Your Car Our Driver carries commercial insurance coverage arranged for private drivers operating client-owned vehicles. That includes commercial Drive Away coverage for the client's vehicle while our private driver is operating it, commercial liability coverage, and workers' compensation for our employees. All coverage is subject to the terms, limits, and exclusions of our applicable policies. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

Same Person Again When Available

A client may request a familiar private driver for another date. When available, that continuity can reduce repeated explanations about the vehicle, property, passenger, and schedule. Every date still requires confirmation because availability can change.

If the requested person cannot accept the assignment, YCOD contacts the client before substituting someone else. The client can accept a different qualified employee or decline that reservation. The choice is not made silently on the client's behalf.

One-time, recurring, and standing arrangements are available. A recurring pattern can support weekly commitments or a series of appointments, while a one-time reservation can cover a single evening, airport plan, business day, ceremony, or extended itinerary.

Three Counties, One Home Company

YCOD serves communities across Orange and Riverside counties as well as Los Angeles County. The company's Newport Beach base sits within the area it has served since 2007. An assignment can begin wherever the client's vehicle is located within the supported territory.

Southern California is not one uniform setting. Coastal corridors, dense business districts, hillside roads, private entrances, airports, major venues, inland distances, and county-crossing schedules create different timing needs. The Client Communities directory and individual county pages provide local orientation, while the reservation contains the actual plan.

An itinerary can continue outside the three counties when accepted in advance. Origin, destination, duration, employee hours, overnight needs, vehicle location, and the return sequence must be agreed before service begins.

Hourly Pricing Explained Before Confirmation

Pricing is based on time and is confirmed before the reservation. With a client-owned sedan or SUV, each of hours one through eight is billed at $60. Beginning with hour nine, the hourly amount becomes $93. A client-owned van, Sprinter, or limousine is billed at $66 for each of the initial eight hours and $105 beginning with the ninth hour.

Every stated hourly figure already includes a 20% gratuity. Most reservations require at least three hours. On New Year's Eve, a start time of 6:00 p.m. or later carries a five-hour minimum. Rates do not increase merely because the date is a weekend, holiday, airport rush, major event, or another high-demand period.

Elapsed time is advanced to the next half-hour increment for billing. The client remains responsible for fuel, parking, valet charges, charging, and other assignment expenses. Tolls are paid directly by the client's own transponder and never appear on an invoice. When an approved expense is advanced on the client's behalf, reimbursement and any applicable convenience fee appear on the invoice. Certain outlying starting points may involve disclosed travel time.

The confirmation includes an estimate based on the information supplied. The final amount depends on actual time and approved expenses. Clients should request an exact explanation for the specific date, vehicle, starting location, and schedule before confirming.

Accountability Has a Name

Trust develops through what happens before, during, and after an assignment. Accurate information, suitable personnel, punctual arrival, careful vehicle handling, confidentiality, reachable contacts, and fair attention to concerns matter more than a slogan.

Josef gives clients his mobile number because responsibility should not disappear into a department. When something deserves attention, the company founder remains available to hear it and determine an appropriate response.

Public reviews and repeat reservations provide two different forms of evidence. Reviews describe experiences in clients' own words. Repeat business shows that people decided to place another date, another schedule, and another set of keys in the company's care.

Make the Reservation Fit the Actual Plan

Start with when and where the vehicle will be ready, the type of vehicle, the passenger count, the expected duration, and every destination currently known. Explain what is fixed, what may change, who can approve additional time, and how the assignment should end.

Clients can request a single date, recurring help, a familiar employee, a coordinated event plan, or guidance choosing the most relevant service. Call, text, email, or use the online form. A company representative will review the details and explain the next step.

The vehicle remains yours. The private driver works for YCOD. The company has answered for the service since 2007.
